200 backpacks for 2019 - Thanks to great partner support!

It is teamwork and partnership at its finest, and the goal of the program is to make a huge positive community impact.

This year marks the seventh year that Preferred Insurance has participated in the Rock Back to School Program. Alongside partner Classic Rock 98.1FM, and the company has reached another new milestone in 2019. A record 200 backpacks have been collected during this year’s 2019 drive, ringing up the 7-year total to 762!

School supplies collected through the program go to kids in need of assistance in our region. They are collected and distributed by the ‘Best First Day’ Program partners, The Salvation Army and The Thames Valley Education Foundation.

As a thank you to their generous business partner supporters, Team Preferred hosted a special day at their office on August 29. Complete with lunch and Classic Rock 98.1FM broadcasting live-on-location to acknowledge and celebrate their joint success.
